Australia is set to open their 2022 Asian Men’s Championship campaign against Iran, when the tournament begins on 18 January, in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The top five teams at this year’s event will qualify for the 2023 Handball World Championship, which will be hosted by Poland and Sweden.
