Australian teamwear manufacturer AKU has entered a partnership agreement with Handball Australia to supply apparel to all national teams for the next three years.
AKU designers have already created the new look for the Australian Men’s team, ahead of the 2022 Asian Men’s Handball Championship, due to start on 18 January 2022, in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Ruz Roslan, Director of AKU Teamwear said “it’s an incredibly proud moment when our Melbourne-born brand can play a small part in supporting Handball Australia’s teams and athletes on the world stage.”
For Handball Australia Secretary-General, Bronwyn Thompson, AKU’s core purpose to “unite and empower people with an identity to achieve the extraordinary” resonates strongly with Handball Australia’s vision for the national teams. The agreement is an extension on a relationship that began more than two years ago.
“AKU have been good friends to Handball Australia, previously supporting our Men’ team. We’re proud to be building a broarder partnership going forward. The Men’s kits and training wear for the Asian Championships next month looks great and we’re glad to also have an avenue through AKU to share with our supporters too,” said Bronwyn Thompson.
This is your chance to be part of this important milestone for Handball Australia and AKU by ordering your own shirt, and supporting our national teams on the global stage.
