Australia takes on New Zealand squads in Beach Handball friendlies

Australia wins friendlies in Women’s and Men’s events at the 2017 Australian Open Beach Handball Club Championships on Saturday. The Women played first today with the more experienced Australia taking both sets 2:0 comfortably. The New Zealand Men’s squad pushed Australia more tightly, forcing Australia to score in the final seconds of the first set to avoid Golden Goal.

The Australian squad, including a number of debut players, took the second set from our TransTasman competitors, making the match 2:0.
