Sydney University keep Oceania Championship title

Sydney University HC has defended their Oceania title, defeating Melbourne’s St Kilda 23:16, in an all-Australian final at Sydney Olympic Park this afternoon.

The win qualifies the club through to their fourth consecutive IHF Super Globe competition, where they will compete against other continental champions, for the title of best handball club in the world.
New Caledonian club AS Dumbea failed to qualify for the final, losing their preliminary matches against both finalists.

Handball Australia thanks all volunteers, officials, players and fans who came out this weekend to help and share this experience.
