Handball Australia publishes new Anti-doping policy

The new Handball Australia Anti-doping policy has been endorsed and published under the Corporate documents section. Please note the policy applies to all members – players as well as other support personnel members.

The update follows the implementation of the new WADA Anti-doping code and ASADA requiring Australian sporting organisations to update their policies.

The WADA updates were effective from January 1, 2015. These proposed changes were endorsed in principle by the HA Board on November 19, 2014.

ASADA supplied a standard draft which was used to update our Handball Australia Anti-doping policy which was reviewed and accepted by notification from ASADA on January 22, 2015 and formally approved by the Board at its February 18, 2015 meeting.
