Sydney Uni HC has won the inaugural Australian Club Championships beating St Kilda HC in a nail-biting final at Sydney’s Olympic Park over the weekend.
With both equal (26:26) at full-time Sydney Uni HC took out the championship in extra-time winning by 6 goals (34:28)
Sydney HC will now be vying for a spot at the 2014 Super Globe in Doha, Qatar. They will travel to New Caledonia, to defend their Oceania Championship Title and hope to qualify for their third consecutive Super Globe championship
In the third match play-off, Hills Heat defeated Queensland’s sole representative, Logan Wizards (24:17) (11:9).
